On a cool and a sunny Saturday afternoon, the Lake Wabukayne Stewardship Committee hosted it’s annual community BBQ at the lake.
A centrepiece of community spirit in south Meadowvale, the annual event attracts hundreds of local residents and visitors from all over Mississauga who want to learn more about the natural habitat surrounding the lake, meet the different community organizations that are involved in protecting the natural habitat of the community and have a fun day.
As both a Co-Chair of the Lake Wabukayne Stewardship Committee and a member of the Rotary Club of Mississauga-Meadowvale, I have been involved with this project since its beginning almost 10 years ago.
