Location In Real Estate: Sometimes It’s The Small Details That Count!

I’ve written on Location in Real Estate in the past as I think it is the most important aspect in determining the value of a home. The easiest determining factors of location are city and neighbourhood however there are more subtle factors such as land elevation, what side of the street, access to amenities, schools, and even what the house backs onto just to name a few.

The trick with location is that you can’t find many of these location factors by simply searching the MLS. These factors are things that you learn as you view hundreds of homes in a particular area and you develop the knowledge firsthand.

Hiring a realtor who knows the area is the first step to winning the location game!
