Hurontario is home to Mississauga’s largest and biggest sporting venues. Mississauga Iceland is large, 4 rink facility dedicated to ice sports such as hockey and figure skating.

The Hershey Centre in Mississauga’s premier venue for sporting and entertainment events and is home to both the OHL’s Mississauga Steelheads and the 905 Raptors. The facility has also hosted big name concerts and events.

Hurontario has a number of outdoor parks and walking trails in the neighbourhood. The Frank McKechnie Community Centre has a library, swimming pool, fitness facilities and a gym.

Hidden inside a subdivision is the Grand Highland Gold Course, a small 9 hole executive course that’s perfect for practicing your game when you’re short on time.

Hurontario has a large concentration of shopping and amenities located on Hurontario St. Everything from big box shopping, large and specialty grocery chains and retail. Also, the fact that the area is so close to SQ1 means you are never more than a few minutes from everything you could possibly need.
