A growing trend I see in  Lifestyle focused real estate is a term I like to call, ‘Village Real Estate‘.

Village real estate recognizes the fact that the most desirable, in demand areas in the GTA are the neighbourhoods that offer a village lifestyle within a larger community. Today’s savvy home buyers are picking community first, before they choose the home.

They are personal neighbourhoods where not everything is the same. They are the areas that residents like exploring, because the story and the search is part of the fun.

The reason Village Real Estate is becoming so popular is that the infrastructure already exists, there’s access to parks, more green space, shops and walking distance amenities. Areas such as Port Credit, Streetsville and Clarkson Village in Mississauga, downtown Oakville, Bronte Village and downtown Burlington further west have all been undergoing tremendous re-development over the past decade and they will be continue to grow.
